Relief from Gout
Gout is an unbearable pain in the joints due to the formation of uric acid crystals and is often experience by people in their late forties. Cherries: Cherries are easily available and are known to ease and lessen severe gout pain. Eat about 15-20 cherries a day or 2 tablespoon of cherry juice to assuage gout pain.
Honey and apple cider vinegar: Mix honey and apple cider vinegar in equal amounts and have 2 tablespoon daily to ease gout pain considerably. This is a good solution which, if taken every day, can stall the gout pain for a long time.
Charcoal: Mix charcoal (half a cup) and powder to form a good paste. Soak your foot in the mixture for about half an hour to get relief from gout pain.
Cold compress: Cold compress does wonder in relieving joint pains. Gout can be effectively treated with cold compress. Place an ice pack on the paining joint for about 15 minutes. This will not only relieve the pain but also decrease the inflammation. Keep an ice pack handy in the refrigerator if you are a gout patient.
Hot Castor oil pack: Apply hot Castor oil compress to reduce gout pain. Dip a cloth into hot castor oil or simply rub the affected joint gently with the oil by the fingertips. Do this two times daily and you will see the effect in about 3 weeks.
Soak in Epsom salt: Soak your feet in a tub of hot tub containing Epsom salt. This helps reduce the gout pain considerably.
Drink plenty of water to detoxify and flush out the excess uric acid from the body. Keep alcohol at bay as it increases the formation of uric acid.
