Should you gift your parents on your wedding day
Parents are the most beautiful people on earth…most of you will agree with me. Many of them had a tough time when we were kids even to make ends meet and give us a beautiful secure future. No family has been without going through tough times and parents have been the strong foundation that we have always leant back on in times of trouble.
The great day has come and you are going to get married. It is not essential but it will be really nice if you could gift something special for your parents to let them know how much they mean to you.
When you gift parents, it will be nice to gift them something special and sentimental to let them know how important they are. You can make a framed family tree well decorated including the new member of the family. You could ask your fiancée to gift a card to his or her new parents to be. They will feel accepted and will be glad to welcome the new member into their family.
A great gift idea for both mom and dad will be jewelry. You can try ring, bracelet or watch for dad and probably a beautiful necklace and earrings for mom. You can gift them a watch set, you have sets for couples depending on their age, and they will be thrilled. You can gift them a photo album with pictures of you from a very small age till you dated and probably the bride or bridegroom to be. It will be fun tracing back memories, including old friends, relatives and colleagues. You can gift them a wedding photo album, this could be done after the wedding, to keep as a perfect memorabilia. You may gift a suit piece and gown for mom and dad which they can wear on your wedding day.
You can gift them a diary with special instances and photographs that you took together. You can make a slideshow with special memories to be played on your wedding reception. You could present them with their favorite CD’s or DVD’s with all the songs that they like. Ideas are innumerable…you need to be creative and have a grateful heart. They deserve it more than anyone else.
