Skin Care After Workout
Just like it is important to take care of the body by following the fitness regime similarly it is important to take care of the skin after a strenuous workout. We know that most of the skin problem arises due to excess oil. One of the common problems which most of us complain is of acne. It is natural that after a rigorous workout, the body sweats. A lot of oil can emerge over the face area. Hence it is suggested to take a cool shower after hard workout. But apart from this one should follow post workout skin care regime, by doing so one can prevent all the skin problems from erupting. Here is the trick:-
Face cleanser- Make use of face cleanser while taking shower. Avoid using the same soap that you use to wash the body. The face skin is much delicate and sensitive. The cleanser should be gentle and must remove the dirt and grime thoroughly. Foam it well to get good lather, this will keep the skin supple and refreshed. Use cleanser with botanical extracts for extra benefits.
Dry shampoo-This is the latest product that is available in the market. Dry shampoo is light in weight; it cleanses the tresses and reduces the oil from scalp. It adds volume too.
Moisturizer- After a heavy duty workout the last thing the skin wants is heavy make up. The moisturizer should be thin preferably water based one, as the oil based will add bulk to the skin.
Sore muscle rub- Sometimes due to heavy workout areas of the body can develop sore. Muscle rub are the solution. One can relieve the hurting muscle but some of them smoothen the skin too.
Towel- Use towel that is soft with nano cotton fibers. It will absorb the sweat and moisture and will not lead to abrasion that happens with rubbing of towel over the skin.
Baby powder or talc-Talc or baby powder will absorb excess oil. It will fight sweating that happen post workout. Apply powder all over the body and feel refreshed.
Deo-a cool spritz of fragrant deo will leave you fresh and energetic.
