Remember eyes are the most sensitive part of the body. They are among the five sense organs. Sometimes application of perfume or any other spray can create redness in the eyes. Care should be taken that while using a perfume it should be sprayed at the back of the ears. If a person is following a low carb diet, they also the visibility gets effected. These low carb diets are dehydrating, see that the water levels are maintained in the body with the adequate consumption of water.
Some of the most common eye related problem is dark circles. It can happen due to over stress or due to night out. The best way to treat them is by keeping slice of potato over the eyes for 20-25 mins. The dark circles will get vanished away and you can bounce back in glory. Another way is by application of warm tea bags on the eyes for 15-20 mins.
Sometimes due to sitting in front of computers for longer time or due to hectic working schedule the eyes get tired. The eyes could be refreshed by applying cotton pads dipped and squeezed in ice water. This pad can be left for 20-25 mins. A slice of cucumber can be kept on the eyes while you leisurely soak yourself in a bath tub.
It’s better to take breaks, even short, during the long working hours. One can do few simple eye exercises, like rolling the eyes and blinking the eyes etc. rub both the palms and now try to cover the eyes with the warm palms. This will relax the eyes to a certain extent. Try to look and focus on the distant object that is kept in your work place and try to focus on it. This will improve the sharpness of the eyes.
Splash the eyes with cool water occasionally. People who use contact lenses must ensure that their lenses are dust and grime free. If some dust or dirt flies and settles on the eyes then instead of rubbing wash off with cool water.
Opt for green therapy. Be a regular visitor of places that are lush green. This is good for the eyes as the color green has soothing effect on the eyes. Consume lots and lots of green leafy vegetables, vitamin C fruits, carrots, tomatoes, poultry and dairy products. Safe guard the eyes with cooling glasses while you are out and while working use anti glare glasses to protect the eyes.
