Some Home Made Masks for Oily Skin

Simple mask, for acne prone oily skin- Milk of magnesia is nothing but magnesium in liquid state. It resembles like clay in properties as it is derived from earth. It has all the disinfecting qualities and is capable of absorbing oil in better way than the fuller earth. The simple way is to apply milk of magnesia in pure form without any flavors, leave it for 10-15 minutes and wash with cool water. Your skin will never felt better than this.

Clay masks are very effective as they neutralize the skin. You can get this clay from any beauty store. The basic ingredients you need are fuller earth clay or French green clay, One tsp of honey, water or rose water and essential oil.

Preparation- The best way is to mix 2 parts of water or rose water to one part of clay, to this add one tsp of honey. You can add more water is you feel that the paste is thick. To this add few drops of essential oil. Leave the paste for 15 minutes over the face. Wash the face with steaming wash cloth.

Banana mask- Banana mask are known for their soothing properties. Take one banana ripe one. Keep the banana in the freezer; let it thaw for a while, one orange or one lemon, one tbsp of honey.

Preparation- Mix the banana with honey thoroughly. To this add few drops of juice of lemon or orange. Apply all over the face and leave it for 15 minutes. Wash the face with steaming warm wash cloth.

Juice mask- Remember that strawberry and lemon act as natural astringents. For this mask take one tsp of lemon juice, 2 egg whites, I cup strawberries, 3 tsp honey, you can even add 4 drops of essential oil, but this is optional.

Preparation- Mash all the above ingredients in a blender, let is form a smooth paste. Apply all over the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
