Some Tips To Take Care Of The Baby
For the first time parents, it becomes difficult to take care of the infants. With no one near to help around it becomes unmanageable sometimes for the new mom and dad. The parents are both involved to take care of their new bundle of joy. They are more anxious about the precise baby feeding plan and may need help or assistance.
Most of the parents are unaware about the number of times they should feed the babies. The information that they get from outside may not be correct or sometimes may be contradictory too. When an infant is hungry see that you feed him/her every time. Infants have to be fed at smaller intervals in small quantities. One can say that they have to be fed approximately every two to three hours in 24 hours.
It is better to seek the expert’s suggestion for this and the baby should be kept in the mother’s room. One of the common problems in the initial days with breast feeding or bottle feeding is the mother is not able to get adequate sleep. Night feeding can become less bothersome if mother and child are kept close together. This can be achieved by positioning the cribs near mother bed or the baby could be made to sleep near the mother too. This becomes easier for the mother to take care of the baby.
How to feed the baby?
Most of the kids wake up hungry after every few hours. Thus maintenance of chart here is futile. If the baby has other health complications and if the mother is not able to breast feed the infant properly, then care should be taken that the kid is properly and adequately fed and he or she doesn’t remain hungry.
Usually infants have to be fed more then specific time day and night. The baby may continue to eat as per the chart that was provided by the pediatrician but within a few months the food pattern may change for the growing baby. Additional water is not needed in the first six months as it is substituted with the mother’s milk. Remember, baby should grow and get enough nourishment from every time they are fed.
