Teaching the Importance of Right Routine to Teenage Kid

In today’s fast paced life where every individual’s life is affected, how can your teenage kids be left alone? There are numerous demands that have to be met in your kid’s everyday life. But the key to all the matter is through the right time management. Your kid is bugged with various issues in his/her life. There is peer pressure, examination pressure, spending time with family and friends, pressure to shine in other extra-curricular activities. It becomes mandatory for kids to suitably plan their time for all the activities and accordingly spend time to it.

Even teens find it perplexingly difficult to juggle between their college, academics, family and extra curricular life. Most of the teenagers do not know time management and organizing themselves as a result their priority in life that is studies get affected. Even the counselors feel that today’s kids are facing tough moment when it comes to decision making. One of the reasons is that they want to do much stuff at one time, which leaves them disorganized. Being over excited or being lethargic will leave you nowhere. Teenage is one of the most crucial time. They want to make their own identity in cognitive, emotional and physical manner. Pressure to excel in everything they do also takes toll mentally. Thus they are left in lurch without knowing what their priority is.

Counselors say that it is important to make a schedule of everything. The schedule or chart must include all the stuffs along with the time they will spend or devote to it. Be it spending family time or for hanging out with their friends, study time or time for extracurricular activities. Everything should be put in it. Apart from this goal setting for their academics is must. By doing so they will overcome their weaknesses, their strength will get added and their personality improved. Their health also determines the personality. And finally they should communicate freely with their parents. They are the only people whom they can open up at time of crisis and tensions.
