Temporomandibular Disorder Toothache

Temporomandibular disorder toothache happens when there is problem in the jaw. The jaw joint and other facial muscles also come under this condition, which helps in the entire process of chewing and movement of the jaw. The Temporomandibular joint derives its name as it is connected with the temporal bone. It is in the form of hinge joint, which is in turn connected with the lower jaw, linked to the temporal bone.

The temporal bone is of skull. One can see that it lies in front of the ear on either side of the head. These joints are very flexible joints.
