The Perfect Bath
There is no need to spend tons of money to have a luxurious bath. With few inexpensive ingredients you can make your bath extra special. Here are some simple steps:
Most important is creating the atmosphere. Tell your family not to disturb you and switch off your phone or put it on answering machine. Basically just try and shut the world out. Also, light some scented candles but make sure you don’t overdo it as it can give you a headache, if too strong. You can place these candles around the bathroom or if there is place you can put them on your bath tub.
Put on some light music like the sound of ocean waves as it is very soothing. But feel free to use whatever you like as long as your mind and body are relaxed and fine tuned.
Fill your bath tub with warm water (too hot is not good for skin). Put some herbal oil if you have normal or dry skin but in case you have an oily skin then you should go for a bubble bath. Whatever you choose, make sure you use fragrance free ingredients as scents can sometimes cause harm to the skin. You can take a jasmine bath to alleviate the cares of a tough day at work or running around with kids .You can also add some bath crystals .
Pour a glass of your favorite drink with a plate of chocolates .It can be wine or steaming latte or maybe even hot chocolate fudge.
Now is the time to enter the tub and relax. Keep your eyes closed and try to enjoy every moment. A bath is a good way to soak out all the problems and negativity at the end of a rough day. Free yourself from the shackles and focus on your bath .It works like a meditation.
Close your shower curtain to seal in the heat, moisture and scent. Scrub your self with a loofah. You can even put a face mask and hair mask. If you have a sensitive skin then take a shower or just come out and pat your self dry with a fluffy towel and apply some body lotion.
Success of your bath depends on you and your creativity. So add any thing that makes you happy. But you must keep one thing in mind, that although such baths are relaxing and soothing but doing it too often can be harmful for the skin. Your regular bath should not be more than 5 to 10 minutes.
