You can even add patterns in your suites; it gives a breath of fresh air. One thing you should keep in mind is—they are more for less formal occasions and are difficult to carry. Short guys should avoid checks but pin stripes or other stripes which are not very bold look good on them. Men with big built should avoid bold patterns. One more thing you should be careful about is while buying a pattern suit check to see that patterns line up at shoulder and lapel seems.
