So you really like that girl and really want to get to know her better but you can hardly find a way to ask her out. Don’t worry, there are ways to make that happen and it can be totally pain free and also embarrassment free. Be a gentleman and the girl will not find a reason to embarrass you. Asking anyone out isn’t a crime and so you’ll not be punished for it. Don’t fret about it.First of all, get her number. If you have a common friend then let that friend get the number for you. If you don’t, then just go over and ask her for it. Strike a conversation first; don’t just go and ask for her number without an introduction at least.

When you get her number, call her at a suitable time. Only call if you are comfortable doing it and are ready for it. Don’t call her because your friends are pressurizing you to. You will only end up messing up the conversation like that.

Call her and introduce yourself again. Talk for sometime and then casually ask if they’d like to go for a cup of coffee with you or just get together to do something else. Choose activities that will show her your personality; something you like doing and are good at.

If she accepts then go out together and then if you think it went well, ask her more formally to go out for lunch or dinner.

If she doesn’t, then don’t push it. It probably means she won’t go out with you so drop the matter. Don’t feel bad. Things happen. Take it with a pinch of salt and don’t let her know how you felt. Use humor to hide the embarrassment.

If you do go on a date, avoid taking her out for movies. It is extremely clichéd and you don’t get to talk much too. 1st takes are meant for getting to know each other. Movies are no place for that.
