Warts
We know warts as moles or verrucas. They are also known as skin tags. The warts are actually hard dry development on the skin surface. They can spread but are normally harmless. Sometimes the warts disappear after a period of time. Sometimes during childhood they even fall off from the skin naturally.
These warts occur after babyhood. They are result of the viruses in the HPV family. For the older generation, it’s a normal phenomenon and they usually do not seek treatment on account of its harmless nature. But with changing times people want to get rid of ugly black spot and yearn for more flawless skin.
They are quite common disorder. They can be of different size and shapes. The most common look resembles the cauliflower. They are like lesions and can be either scattered or grouped. Among kids they get resolved easily. Some other kinds resemble a thread or can be flat. They are kind of rough elevations on the skin surface. They are painless.
Sometimes the warts on the feet can spread easily. Places where moisture content is more like bathrooms and pools these warts cannot spread. They need warm environment for better growth and infection. In some of the swimming pools wearing verrucae socks is mandatory.
These warts can be notorious and can also spread through virus infection. They can easily penetrate the skin through abrasions. A simple act of sucking wart can pass it on the lips. Warts can also spread among family members. Thus they keep on developing and multiplying more and more.
Treatment-
It is suggested that application of castor oil on the affected parts every night is good. With regular use, over a period of time the conditions get improved. Another way is by the juice or the extract that is obtained from the figs. They can be applied on the warts. The treatment will show results over long run. One can get them removed with cosmetic surgery under the able hands of dermatologists or cosmetologist.
