I have had these tumors popping up all over my arms and legs,and i had some of them surgically removed about 4 years ago(approximately 20 large lipomas).i now have scars from this operation.Unfortunately, more tumors are popping up again ,some alongside the scars.Sometimes there is pain in my leg or arms as a result of these lipoma obstructing blood flow.My doctors have again, advised surgery,that means more cuts and scars. I pray and hope someone can assist us in at least slowing done the growth rate of these lipoma as it looks strange and sometimes embarrassing.

Hi, I had a Lipoma, behing my neck, located at upper back. Today I got it surgically removed. It was not causing any severe pain but surely it was causing embarrassment as it was visible. The surgeon did the removal process by applying local anesthesia. It took approx 1 hour to complete the operating procesures. The surgeon was very kind and good. Soon after the operation i am feeling as if some burden has been taken off from my back. They have it sent it for biopsy.

I have a Lipoma under my let breast. I am having it surgically removed in a few weeks. Thank God it is not Lymphoma.

i have got many of these fatty tumor in my body specially in my arms and
leg i have heard that is non cancerous but if i surgically remove it from my body there well be many holes in my. is there any way to remove or stop increasing it with any operation i mean any treatment. please notify my if there is any way i am very worried about it because it is going to increase in numbers.

I am 6 months pregnant, and have a lump rught under my right brest that is about the size of a grapefruit. I was told that it was a fatty tumor, but it is causing me to have breathing problems. I am curious if it dangerous to have it removed during my pregnancy, or if it might be harmful once the baby gets bigger. I am concerned that I will have to deliver the baby early, and if it is too early to deliver. Please let me know if this is dangerous or not.

From what I have read about lipoma it is a non-cancerous fatty tumor under the skin. It can be left alone and cause no problems. If there is pain it is always a good idea to get a biopsy.
