What Is Real Love?

What is real love?  Well, everyone has there own twisted version of the meaning .The amazing part is that we all think we know love! Yeah right! If that’s the truth, then why is it that the divorce rate is so alarmingly high and why is it that people break up? And most importantly what’s with the pre-nuptial agreement and alimony?

Its unfortunate, but a very small percentage of people really know and believe in the true meaning of love. Love is only true if it is unconditional. It is very different from the kind of love most of us have known all our lives. The real definition of true love is, caring about the happiness of the person, accepting them the way they are and doing this all without any expectations.

Here are a few things that need to be considered if you want to find real love:

It’s about finding the right person:
Real love is about finding the person you gel with. It’s a fact that you can fall in love with anybody but if you want to find real love, find someone whose thoughts and ideologies are similar to yours. It’s very important to have things in common to be able to really connect with one another. One of the biggest prerequisites of real love is real connection and compatibility.

Commitment:
The second prerequisite of real love is—respect for the relationship. Respect only comes with commitment. The journey of any relationship can be a long lasting one only if there is commitment from both the sides. If commitment is lost then the mere foundation of the relationship falls weak. Remember, if you cannot give commitment then you can never love someone truly.

Real Love is not about sex:
Sex is a part of the relationship. It is not the whole relationship. It is just one of the elements which make real love,do not embroil it with the whole feeling. Considering it the driving force of a liaison would be a big miscalculation. No doubt sex plays a big role in the initial years but eventually it looses its place. The company, the respect and the compatibility becomes more important.

Remember, we are all capable of finding real love. All we need to do is, first get the hang of it.
