When To End A Friendship?

It’s hard to break up a friendship but sometimes it becomes necessary to do so. Here are a few signs that ‘shout out loud’ that you need to end it:

If your “friend” likes feeling good on you and constantly makes you feel bad about yourself, then he/she is not a friend at all. If they do not come around even after you tell them bluntly that you do not like there constant mockery, then better end it. They are not worth it.

If your friend has a tendency of lying to you a LOT, then you need to reconsider the relationship. A white lie here and there is fine but lies than curtains something huge, should be absolutely unacceptable. Make sure you disconnect yourself from such a precarious person.

If you have an “it is all about me” best friend who never bothers to ask you how you are or does nothing to cheer you up when you are low but ironically expects empathy every time he/she feels low, then you have definitely made a bad friend. If during conversations your friend is doing most of the talking and does not bother about your opinion, then its time to kick him/her out of your life. There is no point having such an insensitive, selfish looser as a pal. Remember, friendship is not a one way street, its give and take.

If your friend has no respect for your family and has more than one occasion insulted any member of your family then he/she does not deserve to be your friend. Remember, family always comes first and a real friend who loves and respects you will never use ill words for your family.

If your friend is obsessive and envies your other friends then there is definitely something wrong. Do not be friends with someone who tries to restrict your social circle to only a few people they approve of.
