Why Do Men Lie To Women?
Lying is bad. People do lie in most of the occasions. But things may get one into trouble especially in a marital relationship. It’s quite easy and common for some people to lie even with their spouses. But in most of the cases it is the men who lie to their better half. But why do a men lie? What could be the various reasons and psychology behind it?
In most of the cases it has been found that the wife herself is responsible and encourages her husband knowingly or unknowingly for this vice. Most of the men complain that they find their wife nagging. And in order to avoid any such conditions they retort to lying. They find it as the best possible way to avoid entering into argument. Comparison is another reason which hurts the man’s ego.
One cannot put the fault entirely on women. Sometimes the men’s attitude may be wrong. Some of they may suffer form lack of self esteem. They might feel that there is constant dissatisfaction in their relationship and their wives expect more from them. Thus misunderstanding creeps into the relationship. This in turn gives way to mistrust and thus a gap starts developing in the marital life.
Most of the time it is the men’s ego, he doesn’t want to open up and share his problems with her. Because he is a man hence should not show his weaknesses or failures. He thus creates a false façade of being hard. Some others fear of break up, so they take the shelter by lying to their spouses. They avoid discussing their emotional trauma as it will invite unnecessary trouble. But the fact is women love to share their men’s emotions, in this way their relationship will be more fortified.
Sometimes the thing is other way round. The wife can be of suspicious nature and in order to avoid himself entering into trouble the man prefers to lie. The man in such circumstances is suffocated. Men do lie to their female counterparts be it his wife or his colleague. This could be to avoid entering to arguments or gaining sympathy or benefits from their females.
