Your Office and Confession
Once you were well in the race to tip your colleagues for the post of manager, but not now. Things have taken a U-turn from then and you’ve been made to stay where you once were. You’re not finding the reasons of that sudden change in the attitude of the management and your fortune as well. You are consistently sulking in deep thoughts and negativity. What the hell I did wrong and not getting my dues as expected?
Such will be the mind-frame of yours once you’re not getting the dues you were hot contender for. And this sudden lost of golden opportunity is due to your attitude and approach towards the job. Despite toiling and putting in everything, you have lost out only for the sake of your constant confessions you still are engaged in and were then as well.
Yes, your practice of confession has cast you terribly and going all, but right. Such could be the extent when you practice the confession art in the office. There’s no need to reveal one and all aspects of yourself in the office. And by consistently letting know your reality, you’ve dished out certain facts accidentally that are turning out to be a barrier for your success. There’s no need to be the real and natural guy, as this won’t fetch you anything professionally.
Your liking, disliking etc once known to the management and colleagues, then all other job related aspects and your prospects might be dashed. You won’t be handed over some steep assignments as you’ve already told them about your not staying in the office once the scheduled time gets over. You will not be available for your weekends as the family comes first for you. And once such aspects are known to the management, then expecting the assignments taking extra times would be an exaggeration.
These are just few minor instances we miss out on once we keep moving in the life with confession tags. You will surely face lots of troubles at other times once the same practice continues. There’s nothing bad in confessing, but you should have a clear measure and delicate blend while confessing in the office.
